Empower YOUth is a registered charity and health promotion organisation based in Templestowe Lower, supporting young people and families across the Manningham community and rural Victoria. The charity delivers innovative, evidence-based, trauma-informed programs designed to strengthen mental health, build emotional resilience, and foster community connection.
With a strong focus on early intervention, Empower YOUth works to prevent young people from entering out-of-home care by supporting families before crisis occurs. Their flexible, person-centred approach allows them to provide responsive support in homes and community settings, led by a qualified and compassionate team.
Current initiatives include expanding Empower YOUth LAB (a trauma-informed learning and employment precinct for youth), increasing access to therapeutic supports and life skills programs, and strengthening partnerships with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.
