Nikki is a client‑focused registered building surveyor who leads Hornsby Building Surveyors with technical rigour, practical judgement and a strong commitment to client outcomes. As principal and founder, she combines deep regulatory knowledge with hands‑on experience to deliver clear, dependable advice across Victoria’s building compliance landscape.

As a proud second-generation building surveyor, Nikki takes great pride in upholding her family's legacy in the profession. Nikki’s professional formation began after graduating from university when she joined her family’s private certifying business in Sydney. During those formative years, she gained a well-rounded, multifaceted skill set in a dynamic, hands-on environment. From coordinating client applications and undertaking complex assessment work to attending rigorous building inspections and managing business operations, Nikki gained an 'all-access' understanding of what it truly takes to be both an exceptional building certifier and a successful business owner.

Following a strategic relocation to Melbourne, Nikki advanced her career by successfully completing her specialised postgraduate studies in Building Surveying. To build a robust, authoritative understanding of the local landscape, she intentionally forged her compliance career across a diverse mix of large and medium-sized private surveying firms, local municipal councils, and state government organisations.

Nikki holds registration with the Victorian Building Authority and is recognised for her specialist knowledge of Victorian regulation and the intricacies of local compliance.
